Tailored training

Develop Training Ltd (DTL), a leading UK training specialist, has announced its successful appointed by tRIIO, a joint venture between Morrison Utility Services and Skanska UK.

DTL will provide tailored training for the leading gas engineering business under a five-year contract.

The training partnership will deliver a mix of traditional and newly designed bespoke courses, centred on an intuitive online training portal, developed specifically for tRIIO. Another unique feature of the delivery model is that certain aspects of training and assessment will be delivered on-site, rather that in a sterile training environment.

John Kerr, Operations Director at DTL, said, “We are very proud to have secured this contract with tRIIO, which recognises the importance of keeping people safe through the provision of appropriate training. As a leading utilities industry provider of training, we feel ourselves ideally placed to deliver this programme, which was developed in partnership with the client. This innovative partnership approach enables us to deliver the best possible training environment for their employees through our promise of greater engagement with learning.”

Jo Green, tRIIO’s Training Manager, says: “We are totally confident our partnership with DTL will bring efficiencies and cost savings in better planning, resource allocation and investment in delivering our training activities. We are very impressed with DTL’s professionalism, technical support systems and ability to fully understand and meet our requirements. We very much look forward to working together.”
