Take action against mould
Action Dry Emergency Services claims to have become the first European Company to offer Mouldscope real time testing for those needing to investigate mould conditions in a property.
MouldScope is a portable "lab" for detecting airbourne or surface viable and non viable spores and fragments. Its uses optical detection and identification technology originally developed for the military to detect biological aerosols.
Mouldscope quantifies and identifies the existing mould levels outside the home or building and compares the results, on a particle by particle basis, to each area scanned comparing areas tested to an international dataset and building a picture of the areas of concern within the property being tested.
Each particle drawn through the system is illuminated by laser, allowing for the MouldScope to detect, quantify and identify each mould type through its unique optical signature. Using advanced DNA algorithms the contamination levels are calculated to a high degree of accuracy, which Action Dry Emergency Services says was never before possible. Mouldscope can also be used to assess contamination on and in furnishings.
An added benefit is that the system also quantifies 2.5 and 10 PM and other biological matter.
