Teaching tools

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Snap-on Industrial, the tooling and workshop equipment solutions specialist, has launched a bespoke e-Learning course to help drive awareness of the dangers of working with tools at height.

It has been designed to help learners get to grips with technically complex subjects in an efficient, easy to follow and multi-sensory structure. The programme will take learners through a comprehensive series of modules to understand working at height, how to correctly use Snap-on Industrial’s Tools@Height system and understand the reasons for adopting sound safety practices.

It also covers the storage, selection, inspection and use of tools and lanyards. Learners can go through the programme at their own pace and at a time and location that suits them – even in places with poor or no internet access.
