The all new SP-575X SnowEx Utility Spreader

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

When you find something that works really well you’ll tell other people about it. That’s very much how so many SnowEx utility spreaders have found their way into use with councils, contractors, farmers and private estates.

The new SnowEx SP-575X is a highly versatile utility spreader which can be used in a variety of applications, thanks to the wide range of mounting brackets available for commercial vehicles and 4×4’s, utility vehicles, tractors, forklifts or trailer mounted for use behind an ATV.

With its 163 litre capacity and 12m spread width, it is designed to provide a highly cost-effective winter risk management system, featuring the unique SnowEx 12V maximum torque sealed drive unit, so there are no belts, pulleys, sprockets or chains to break. It is fitted with a robust all-weather cover, which provides a convenient solution for protecting the material from moisture, and all hoppers are made from non-corrosive heavy duty polythene. The patented SnowEx vibrator keeps material flowing freely, while a powerful drive auger feeds spread material directly to the spinner, ensuring jams and blockages are kept to a minimum.

The latest SnowEx SP-575X comes with a new in-cab digital controller, which offers variable-speed control of the spinner. It features a diagnostic display, bright LED lights and convenient accessory buttons for easy control of optional accessories.

The SnowEx SP-575X has raised the standards in utility spreaders and it certainly has people talking.
