TÜV SÜD Product Service Launches machinery electrical safety training

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Specialist in machinery safety, TÜV SÜD Product Service is launching a new series of machinery electrical safety training courses.

The new course will help delegates to understand how the requirements of the standard EN 60204-1 – ‘Safety of Machinery: Electrical Equipment of Machines’ should be applied to ensure that machines are safe, control responses of the machine are consistent, and that the machine may easily be maintained throughout its lifetime.

This will allow delegates to build or refurbish machinery control systems and panels to a level that meets the standard. The course is suitable for anyone involved in panel design, panel build, electrical maintenance, electrical control systems, machinery refurbishment and upgrade, as well as industrial electrical systems installers.

The dates and locations currently confirmed are:

  • 3rd September, 2013 – Fareham, Hampshire
  • 24th September, 2013 – Birmingham
