Vehicle height safety
To help prevent accidents that can occur when operatives access the top of trucks for loading or maintenance, a range of harness-based products is available to safely arrest or even prevent a fall from happening, both in the warehouse and out on the road.
Tom Rimmington, managing director of Fall Protection Solutions says: “Our latest product, the T-Line, provides an overhead fall arrest anchor solution, even where overhead gantry cranes are present. Another new product, the TRAM system, provides access to vehicle roofs such as dustbin lorries and tankers even when they are out on the road.
“I would encourage everyone responsible for the safety of those maintaining and loading vehicles to ask the question, ‘what more could we be doing to protect those working at height.”
