voluntary rescue service – Ice-

new operational PPE

volcanic eruptions.
The new garments have
been supplied by specialist
Swedish workwear
manufacturer, Taiga and are
specially designed to protect
rescue service volunteers in
one of the world’s most
challenging environments.
Taiga worked closely with
Ice-Sar to develop a suit
comprising shell jacket and
trousers made of GORE-TEX
Pro Shell fabric and a jacket
and hat made of
WINDSTOPPER soft-shell
material. The suit is breathable
and provides maximum
protection against wind and
rain with a high degree of
comfort.
