Nexus Industries, which manufactures and distributes electrical accessories and equipment, is reaping the financial and environmental benefits from investing in two waste material baling machines, and improving health and safety in the process.
Nexus Industries purchased a V400 baling machine from Agritel, a supplier of industrial packaging materials and environmental management equipment.
It then purchased a second machine after achieving a return on investment within 18 months instead of the forecasted two-and-a-half years, and total waste management cost savings of £18k over the same period.
Nexus’ Glenn Rickwood added: “With the mill-sized bales easier to collect and process, the two machines have provided an excellent return on investment, and improved housekeeping and health and safety on the factory floor.”
