Workshop success

of a recent series of industry
workshops organised by cleaning
systems specialist Kumi Solutions in
conjunction with SAFECHEM and
manufacturer PERO.
Attendees learned how to achieve
quality surface cleaning results while
complying with latest legal and
environmental requirements.

Seminar sessions highlighted topics
as varied as users’ and suppliers’ legal
obligations, safe and sustainable
cleaning methods, risk management,
solvent selection and optimisation,
and cleaning technology
developments – enabling customers
to fulfil an EU Solvents Emissions
Directive (SED) requirement of
investigating the use of reduced risk
solvents, wherever possible, while
learning how they can continue to
employ trichloroethylene.
